Prices and Quotations
All prices and quotations given are fixed for a period of 90 days.
Alterations and Cancellations
Save where it is expressly agreed to the contrary, the client will have a reasonable period of time, and in any event not more than 28 days from the acceptance date if the contract allows, to notify Stephen Blake Interiors of any changes to the clients order. For the avoidance of doubt where Stephen Blake Interiors has placed an order with a third party supplier on behalf of the client and the client subsequently cancels or varies such order and Stephen Blake Interiors consequently incurs additional cost, Stephen Blake Interiors may charge such additional costs to the client.
Delivery
Dates and times given by Stephen Blake Interiors for the delivery of the goods and the carrying out of installation work shall not be of the essence in the contract between Stephen Blake Interiors and the client. However, as custom built goods will take a longer manufacturing period delivery will be advised and agreed at the acceptance date. Delivery costs for economy range kitchens, bedroom furniture and panelling will be advised in quotation.Custom built fitted furniture will incur a delivery charge given on quotation.
Guarantee
All custom made furniture, staircases and panelled rooms are guaranteed by Stephen Blake Interiors for a period of 12 months. The client shall examine all goods and fitted work with Stephen Blake Interiors on completion and notify Stephen Blake Interiors within 14 days after completion if any defects are found. Stephen Blake Interiors accepts no liability for any defects in the goods or installation work where payment of all sums due from the client of Stephen Blake Interiors has not been made in full.
Design
Designs and Drawings will be provided only on agreement between Stephen Blake Interiors and the client and priced according to the specific contract. All plans, designs, drawings and specifications provided to the client by Stephen Blake Interiors shall remain the property of Stephen Blake Interiors until paid for in full.
Terms of Payment
Terms are strictly payment in full with your order for all economy range kitchens, bedroom furniture and panelling. Custom made fitted furniture, staircases and panelled rooms within 7 days of the acceptance date the client shall pay a deposit of 30% of the Price. The client agrees that this is non-refundable in any event. The client shall make a further payment of 65% of the price ( the second instament ) not less than 7 days before the delivery date. The balance of the price is due on completion of the installation work. The Price excludes VAT. Where VAT is properly chargeable the client shall pay such a tax in addition to the payments otherwise due to Stephen Blake Interiors. Time for payment shall be of the essence in the contract between Stephen Blake Interiors and the client.
